ARCHANGEL / INTERN INTAKE

Fourth cohort · Winter 2026 · Focus: Psi Ops

You are looking at the first exercise.

Archangel Agency runs an unpaid internship training program. Interns learn intelligence operations by doing them — in our software, on real work. This application is not a formality we process before that starts. How you move through it is the first thing we read.

Say it plainly

This is an unpaid internship. You will not be compensated — and you should know why that is survivable: we do not make money on anything an intern produces. There is no revenue stream your work feeds. The program exists for your benefit. You get structured training, direct mentorship, real casework, and a network; we get practice at teaching, and software tested by people who did not build it. If you are enrolled somewhere that grants credit, we will do the paperwork. If that is not a trade you want, this is not for you, and there is no hard feeling in that.

What an intern actually does12 weeks

We build the software an Earth Intelligence Network runs on — Starcom, Navcom, Earth Alliance News, the Knights Portal, Mecha Jono. Interns operate that stack: running open-source investigations through it, producing intel reports with it, and finding out where it breaks. You learn tradecraft by doing the work, and the work is real on both ends — real cases, and software that genuinely needs someone putting weight on it.

The program is entry-level by design. You do not need prior experience, you do not need to be enrolled anywhere, and you do not need a technical background — this is intelligence tradecraft, not computer forensics. Curiosity and follow-through get you further here than a résumé does.

Accepted applicants are Interns on paper, which is the word that matters to a registrar. The software will call you a Cadet.

This cohort is built around Psi Ops. Our stack needs operators putting real weight on it.

Psi OperativeOpen

Psionic-field practitioner.

Remote sensing, shielding, and psi discipline as daily practice. You also work the narrative side — reading coordinated manipulation patterns in live feeds and writing up what you find.

You work in Starcom Academy · Earth Alliance News

Psionic EngineerOpen

Instrumentation and applied theory for the psi field.

Measurement, tooling, and technical method. You build and stress the instruments the other psi work depends on, and you will be shaping tooling that does not fully exist yet.

You work in Starcom Academy · Mecha Jono · Starcom
Apply for this track →
Cyber InvestigatorOpen

OSINT tradecraft and case-building.

Open-source research on live cases: gather, verify, and package intelligence into reports that hold up. You will run real casework through our tooling and tell us where the tooling gets in your way.

You work in Starcom · Earth Alliance News · Mecha Jono

Net RunnerOpen

Digital fortress defense.

Threat analysis, forensics, and intrusion response — pointed at our own stack first. You probe what we have built, document what breaks, and help close it. Adversarial thinking is the job.

You work in Starcom · Navcom · Knights Portal

Biochemical and environmental threat defense.

Exposure awareness, protective protocol, and physiological resilience.

How this runs Three stages

  1. STAGE 01

    Application

Who you are, why this, and which track — plus an optional practical exercise. We read method, not answers. There is no correct response, and we would rather see how you think than what you already know.

  2. STAGE 02

    Verification

We check what you told us against what is publicly available. You consent to that explicitly before you submit, and we tell you what we look at.

  3. STAGE 03

    Interview

A conversation. If it goes well you are in the cohort, and we sort out credit paperwork if you need it.

Already experienced? Different door

If you have been doing open-source intelligence work for years, this internship is the wrong shape for you. What we offer instead is liaison: a second reader before you publish, somewhere to publish, and your name on it — an exchange between independents, not a job. Here is what that looks like, and how to reach us directly.

Archangel Knights Volunteer

Archangel Knights are the volunteer RLSH operatives of Archangel Agency, a Super Hero Support Organization. Critical Intel. Actionable Missions. See the divisions and apply.

What we are actually looking for

Attention to detail. The instinct to verify before repeating. Scope discipline — five clean findings beat fifteen messy ones. And the confidence to tell us we got something wrong without making it a fight. If you notice something inconsistent anywhere on this site, there is a field at the end of the application for exactly that, and using it counts in your favour.
